Muslin is a loosely-woven light weight merino-wool fabric introduced to Japan from Europe (originally from the Middle East in the 17th century). Because muslin is a breathable fabric, muslin clothing is suitable for hot, dry climates.
Muslin wool is very light, woven with incredibly thin single-stranded thread. It has a distinctively rich color and is warm but breathable.
