Our best selling "Rectangle" one piece dress just got better! Now with a V neckline and side-vents at the hem, it creates a gentler look and breezier feel for the spring and summer. It now comes in the same Ise cotton as our All Season scarves, which makes it light-weight but still providing that gentle warmth needed on a cooler spring/summer day or night and it gets softer as you wash it.
This 100% Ise cotton square shirt-dress is called “Rectangle” from its simple shape. ( one size fits all ) The design is inspired by “kantoui” which was the one-piece clothing worn during the Yayoi-Period ( 250BC – 250AC ) of Japan. 2000 years later, you can wear it as a dress, layer it over jeans, or combine it as a tunic-like shirt over long-sleeves.
*Each piece is cut at different points of printed cloth, therefore variations exist.

Care
*Washing in a washing machine will cause the garment to shrink roughly 3%.
*Due to the nature of the dye, color variation or general discoloring may exist.
*When washing in a washing machine, wash alone in a laundry net for initial wash.
*Staining may occur from the dye, avoid hand washing or soaking.
*Avoid using a dryer; air dry recommended.
