“Choujugiga” is the one of the most famous scroll drawn over 800 years ago, is now considered to be the origin of Japanese Manga.
The scroll now is the collection of Kousanji Temple in Kyoto, and SOU SOU proudly announce the limited edition collaboration design featuring this world famous print, mixing with SOU SOU Textile Design by our designer Katsuji Wakisaka.
・Hand printed on cotton cloth in a plain weave that takes dye beautifully, resulting in vivid color.
・Printing and manufacture are both handled in Kyoto; a fully Kyoto-made piece!
